Take some guesswork out of irrigating

Sometimes getting irrigation right can be difficult – particularly with new crops, a new irrigation system, in spring and autumn or just trying to fit irrigation in to a busy schedule. To assist with irrigation planning and to help achieve top yields, Murray Dairy and AgVic provide a weekly ‘Irrigation Requirement$’ summary. This summary includes objective information on plant water requirements for the past week and the forecast week, as well as an interpretation of what this means for optimum irrigation scheduling. A simple new interactive spreadsheet tool is also available that helps you better tailor irrigations for your unique pasture and crop needs.
